🌏 About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of Global Business Development to lead CGV’s operations and growth strategy in Vietnam. This is a full-time leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.

You will represent CGV on the ground, identify and support top-tier founders, and build a strong bridge between investor communities in Vietnam and Canada. You’ll be working across early-stage venture ecosystems, supporting high-potential teams through their global expansion journeys.

This is a rare opportunity to shape cross-border impact at scale.

🛠 What You’ll Do

Ecosystem & Market Development

  • Lead CGV’s expansion strategy across Vietnam

  • Build partnerships with accelerators, universities, innovation hubs, and government agencies

  • Represent CGV at events, pitch nights, and investor forums

Startup Sourcing & Founder Support

  • Identify startups ready for international scaling

  • Guide founders on pitching, fundraising, and market-entry

  • Manage Vietnam’s founder pipeline for CGV Pitch Days and programs

Investor Network Growth

  • Build relationships with Vietnamese angels, family offices, and early-stage funds

  • Introduce Canada-based investment opportunities

  • Support investor education, syndication, and capital flow

Cross-Border Collaboration

  • Align closely with the CGV team in Canada

  • Ensure smooth communication and founder-investor matching across both markets

✅ What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, investment, or startup ecosystem leadership

  • Deep familiarity with both the Vietnamese and Canadian markets

  • Track record working with startups, accelerators, or venture capital

  • Experience raising or facilitating investments

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable operating independently

Bonus Points

  • Experience in international expansion or global startup programs

  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
