We are excited to announce the launch of CGV’s HealthTech vertical — a dedicated accelerator program for MedTech, digital health, and healthcare-services founders entering the Canadian market.
Why HealthTech, Why Now
Canada is one of the most compelling markets for healthcare innovation. With a publicly funded health system serving 38 million people, world-class research institutions, and a federal government committed to digital health modernization, the opportunity for international HealthTech founders is significant — and largely untapped.
Yet the Canadian healthcare system is also one of the most complex to navigate. Hospital procurement is slow and relationship-driven. Provincial regulatory frameworks differ. Clinical adoption requires evidence, trust, and patience. Most international founders arrive with a great product and no roadmap for the Canadian system.
CGV’s HealthTech vertical is built to change that.

Investor matching and Pitch Day — curated connections with healthcare-focused investors and a dedicated Pitch Day for HealthTech cohort founders.
Who This Is For
CGV’s HealthTech program is designed for international founders and Canadian early-stage companies building in:

A Builder’s Program from Day One
The HealthTech vertical is launching in April 2026 as a new addition to CGV’s suite of sector programs, which already serve founders in SaaS & Tech, AI & Data, CleanTech, and Fintech.
Because this is the first cohort, founders who join early will have direct access to CGV leadership, significant mentor attention, and the chance to shape what the program looks like as it grows. This is not a mass-cohort program — it is deliberately small, high-touch, and outcome-focused.
